On Wednesday Boston Pride General Manager, Hayley Moore, announced the re-signing of Alyssa Gagliardi for the 2016-17 season.
Gagliardi and the Pride agreed upon a one-year, $14,000 contract which is $2,000 less than last season.
We had an amazing group of players and individuals this past year, and great fan support. We want to grow the game in Boston and continue to represent Boston as a great sports city.

Gagliardi is the third member of the inaugural Pride team to re-sign. She joins forwards Jillian Dempsey and Jordan Smelker.

Alongside goaltender Brittany Ott, Gagliardi and the Pride’s defense was able to hold their opponents to 39 regular season goals and 8 playoff goals. The combination of a solid goaltender and smart defenseman helped lead the team to become the first ever Isobel Cup Champions.
I’m excited and honored to build on what we achieved this year, and to be a part of that again and compete for another Isobel Cup.

The Pride have another $229,000 to spend on 11 skaters and 2 goaltenders.
The restricted free agency period will come to a close on April 30. All unsigned players become unrestricted free agents on May 1.
