Following the elimination of the Nashville Predators in Thursday’s Game 7 match against the San Jose Sharks, the next 10 undecided picks in the 2016 NHL draft have been set, cementing the first 26 picks of the draft.
Among teams outside the draft lottery, only the Minnesota Wild (15) and Detroit Red Wings (16) had their places set in stone prior to the second round. Now the picks are set through 26th in the first round, leaving just four more picks to be finalized, drawn from the four teams remaining in the postseason.

The 2016 NHL draft will take place in Buffalo’s First Niagara Center, which has been rechristened KeyBank Center, on June 24 and 25.
