Robert Douglas Boughner (born March 8, 1971), nicknamed “The Boogieman”, is a Canadian professional ice hockey coach and former player. He is the head coach for the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League (NHL). As head coach of the Windsor Spitfires in the Ontario Hockey League, Boughner won two Memorial Cup Canadian major junior national championships, in 2009 and 2010 and won the CHL’s Brian Kilrea Coach of the Year Award twice, in 2008 and 2009.
