Raphael Diaz (January 09, 1986) is a Swiss ice hockey player currently under contract for the HC Fribourg-Gottéron of the Swiss National League (NL). Diaz formerly played 14 seasons with EV Zug, serving as their captain from 2017 to 2020. He was undrafted at the NHL level but managed to play in the NHL for five seasons as a member of the Montreal Canadiens, Vancouver Canucks, New York Rangers, and Calgary Flames. Diaz amassed 49 points (8 goals, 41 assists) in 201 career games. Diaz returned to the Swiss league in 2015-16, joining EV Zug for five more seasons before moving on to HC Fribourg-Gottéron for the 2021-22 season.

At the international level, Diaz has represented his country on 14 occasions, playing in the World Junior Championship Division-1 (2004), World Junior Championship (2005, 2006), and World Championship (2008, 2011, 2013, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021). He also represented Switzerland the the 2010, 2014, and 2018 Olympics, finishing 8th, 9th, and 10th respectively. Diaz will attend his fourth Olympic Games in Beijing.
