Sean Monahan (born October 12, 1994) is a Canadian professional ice hockey center and alternate captain for the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League (NHL). He is a first round selection of the Flames, sixth overall, at the 2013 NHL Entry Draft and played junior hockey with the Ottawa 67’s of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) where he served as team captain.
