Sergei Viktorovich Gonchar (born 13 April 1974) is a Russian former professional ice hockey player and a former assistant coach for the Pittsburgh Penguins. He has previously played for the Washington CapitalsBoston Bruins, Penguins (with whom he won the Stanley Cup in 2009), Ottawa SenatorsDallas Stars and the Montreal Canadiens.
