The NWHL’s Connecticut Whale has signed two-time Olympian Kelli Stack, general manager Harry Rosenholtz announced on Thursday.
Stack was a dominant player for Boston College, setting the school record for points (209) and assists (111) during her time in the NCAA. She was also the first player to ever be Hockkey East Player of the Year three times.
In addition to a storied collegiate career, the Ohio native has collected an impressive international resume, grabbing two silver medals with the U.S. National team in the Olympics and three gold medals in World Championships.

Stack is one of many NWHLers whose signing has been able to be announced this week, following a long period that is presumed to have seen the hold up of transfer agreements between the CWHL and the NHWL.
