Jaromir Jagr left Tuesday’s game against the Colorado Avalanche with a lower body injury and will not return to the game, according to the team.
The 43-year-old top line winger made it all the way through the first period, but didn’t come back out with the team to start the second.
With 10 points in eight games, Jagr is the Panthers point leader and is tied for 11th in the NHL.
The loss of Jagr for any amount of time could start to derail a solid start to the season for the Cats. They’re already without one member of the top line, Aleksander Barkov (hand), for a couple weeks. Losing two thirds of the top line, including their leading scorer could hurt.
Injury Update: Jaromir Jagr (lower body) will not return to tonight's game.
