The Anaheim Ducks have waived 32-year-old forward Tim Jackman, according to Elliotte Friedman on Monday.
Jackman is playing on a one-year deal worth $700,000. It’s his second straight single season contract with the Ducks, following a trade that sent him to the Ducks from the Calgary Flames in exchange for a 6th round draft pick during the 2013-14 season.
Jackman has only found his way into two games this season, averaging 5:44 per game.
He played 55 games for the Ducks last year, putting in a pair of goals and five assists to go along with 86 penalty minutes and an average ice time of 8:23 per game.
