The Columbus Blue Jackets have re-signed 23-year-old enter Lukas Sedlak to a one-year, two-way contract, the team announced Wednesday. The team did not disclose the terms of the contract.
However, Cap Friendly reports that the deal is worth $600,000 in the NHL and $60,000 in the AHL, with an $85,000 minimum.
The 2011 5th round draft pick scored 14 goals and 19 points through 54 games for the AHL Lake Erie Monsters this season. That represents career-highs in goals, points, plus/minus (plus-13) and games played, tying for fifth on the team in goals and fourth in plus/minus.

The Monsters are still rolling in the Calder Cup playoffs, where Sedlak’s monster play includes six goals and 11 points, along with 16 penalty minutes and a plus-9 rating, through 12 matches. That has him tied for the club lead in postseason points.
He’s played a key role for the Cleveland-based club, bringing depth to a team that is full of promising prospects who are looking to parlay that skill into a Calder Cup championship in the coming weeks.
