Today, the Colorado Avalanche released their 2016 preseason schedule. Colorado will play six games, three sets of series’ against the Dallas Stars, Los Angeles Kings, and Minnesota Wild.
The Avalanche start out their preseason schedule with an away game against their recent heated rivals Minnesota, which sets things up rather nicely for fans. Colorado will also get to test their might against one of the NHL’s most offensive teams in the Stars.
The six game preseason concludes on a high as well, with the very fun annual Frozen Fury game in Las Vegas versus the Kings, where they are considered the home team. This time, the Frozen Fury matchup will be played at the new T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas, where they hope to ice an NHL team in the near future.
All three of these teams will be in Colorado’s way towards the playoffs, so they shouldn’t need much pumping up for the games, even if they are preseason.
