Ben Meyers (born November 15, 1998) is an American ice hockey player currently playing for the Colorado Avalanche of the National Hockey League (NHL). Meyers has spent the last three seasons with the University of Minnesota in the NCAA, becoming an alternate captain during the 2020-21 season and then named captain in the 2021-22 season. Undrafted at the NHL level, he played three years with the USHL’s Fargo Force, finishing up his final season in 2018-19 as an alternate captain. Meyers was selected by the Force in the USHL Futures Draft, at 96th overall.
Meyers represented Team USA at the 2022 Beijing Olympic Winter Games, his first appearance at the international level. He has spent the entirety of his career in American programs, ranging from the USHS-MN to the NCAA.
