Yesterday the Lake Erie Monsters released their 76-game schedule for the 2015-16 season. This will be an exciting ninth season for the Monsters as this is the first season they are affiliated with the Columbus Blue Jackets.
First Game
The first game of the Monsters season takes place on the road against the Rochester Americans on October 9th. This will be the second year in a row the season opens on the road for the club.
October 9th is the home opener for the clubs affiliate the Columbus Blue Jackets. We will keep you updated on where you can watch the Monsters game as Fox Sports will most likely be airing the Jackets game in the Cleveland area.
Home Opener
The Iowa Wild get the pleasure of helping the Monsters open the hockey season at Quicken Loans Arena on October 16th. Game time is set for 7pm.

Season Closer
April 15th is both the final home game and final game of the season for the Monsters. They will play Charlotte at 7 pm. This is towards the start of baseball season so keep an eye out for the Indians schedule. If they have a game on the same day parking will be a bear.
Longest Homestand:
The end of February and the beginning of March hold a 7 game homestand for the Monsters. They will play San Antonio, Rochester, Rockford, and Milwaukee over the homestretch.

Lake Erie takes a monster of a roadie during the month of January. They play 10 games over the course of 14 days in Toronto, Milwaukee, Chicago, Grand Rapids, and Manitoba.

Traffic Woes
Quicken Loans Arena is home to multiple sports teams and there are times when two teams will play on the same day. Those days you will either need to leave a bit earlier to get to the game or find another place to park after the game if you plan on doing something afterwards. The Monsters share Quicken Loans with another team four times this season.
