2016 draft eligible prospect Auston Matthews potted his third goal of the 2016 World Championship on Sunday when the U.S. took a disappointing loss to Germany.
Despite the loss, it was a beautiful goal.
He got the feed from Brock Nelson, who had his shot blocked. Matthews takes a couple of steps into the circle and fires one past German netminder Thomas Greiss.

The prospective number one overall draft pick has three goals and three assists, along with 16 shots, in six games for the Americans, who could miss a berth into the medal round if they lose to Slovakia in their final game of the opening round.
