The Chicago Blackhawks joined the NHL in 1926 as one of the league’s Original Six franchises. At the time, they were known as the Black Hawks and remained so until the 1986-87 season. In 96 seasons, they have made the postseason 63 times and have won six Stanley Cups. Those championships include two in the 1930s and three in the 2010s with their latest occurring in 2015. Additionally, they have reached the Stanley Cup Final six times.
