On Wednesday, Carey Price was just getting into his third game since missing over two weeks with an upper body injury. Now, the Montreal Canadiens may be functioning without the 2015 Vezina Trophy winner again.
Price left Wednesday’s game against the New York Rangers with an injury that is reportedly to his right leg.
The injury occurred during the second period, though Price finished the frame. He was replaced by rookie Mike Condon to start the third period.

The Canadiens wound up winning the game 5-1, with Price stopping 22 of 23 shots. Condon stopped all 11 shots he faced in the third period.
Price has played 12 games this season, posted a .934 save percentage, which is the fifth best mark in the league.
Renaud Lavoie reports that the team is expected to recall goaltender Dustin Tokarski to back-up Condon, which indicates that the team doesn’t expect Price to be back in the immediate future.
