Both Clarke MacArthur and Marc Methot are going to be out of the lineup for a bit with concussions, the Ottawa Senators announced on Tuesday.
GM Bryan Murray added that they’re “going to take their time” with MacArthur.
TSN’s Dean Brown added an interesting, if not a little confusing, note on MacArthur’s concussion
.
They don't know when or where he got the concussion. They thought the flu like symptoms were the flu, but then discovered it was more.

Sounds like the team is a little confused as well, so that’s likely part of the reason the team is planning on taking their time with MacArthur, who scored 16 goals and 20 assists for the team last year.
With regards to Methot, things seem to not be quite as serious. Murray said that he doesn’t believe Methot will be out long and that he will try to practice on Wednesday, according to Brown.
