Elwin Ira Rollins (October 9, 1926 – July 27, 1996) was a professional Canadian ice hockey goaltender who played for the Chicago Black Hawks, New York Rangers and the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Rollins won the Hart Trophy as the NHL’s most valuable player in 1953-54, despite the Black Hawks finishing sixth out of the six-team league. They managed only 31 points – a whopping 37 points behind the fifth-place New York Rangers. The Black Hawks also allowed the most goals that season, and scored the fewest.
