Brad Boyes (born April 17, 1982) is a retired Canadian ice hockey player, having played his final year in the NHL split with the Toronto Maple Leafs during the 2015-16 season. Drafted 24th overall by the Leafs in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, Boyes officially broke into the NHL during the 2003-04 season, playing one game with the San Jose Sharks. Boyes became an NHL regular during the 2005-06, as a member of the Boston Bruins, after spending a full season with their AHL affiliate. Boyes’ 12-year career included four seasons with the St. Louis Blues, as well as stints with the Buffalo Sabres, New York Islander, Florida Panthers, and one season with the team that drafted him, the Maple Leafs. In 822 career games, Boyes amassed 505 points (211 goals, 294 assists).
Boyes represented Canada on three occasions, winning a bronze medal in 2001 and a silver medal in 2002 as part of Canada’s World Junior Championship teams, as well as a 4th-place finish at the 2006 Ice Hockey World Championships.
