Drayson Bowman (born March 8, 1989) is a former American ice hockey player, having played his final year in the NHL with the Montreal Canadiens during the 2014-2015 season. Drafted 72nd overall by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, Bowman returned to the Western Hockey League (WHL) for two more seasons with the Spokane Chiefs. He amassed 89 goals and 165 points in two seasons combined, and served as one of the team’s alternate captains in his final year. Making the leap to pro for the 2009-10 season, Bowman made his NHL debut, appearing in nine games and registering two goals.

In five years with Carolina, Bowman’s opportunity to make an impact at the NHL level came, and his playing time increased over the course of each season. He appeared in a career high of 70 games during the 2013-14 season, but his production dropped off to four goals and 12 points. Not receiving a contract in the offseason, Bowman signed a try-out with the Canadiens, eventually earning a one-year, two-way contract. Despite posting decent numbers in the AHL, he received just three games and failed to record any points.

Following one season split between the AHL and ECHL, Bowman took his talents overseas, signing a contract with Düsseldorfer EG of the Deutsch Eishockey League (DEL). In 51 games, he recorded 11 goals and 20 points, but the team failed to reach the postseason. Bowman returned to North America for one more year, winning the ECHL Kelly Cup Championship with the Colorado Eagles. He recorded 11 points in 20 playoff games, choosing to retire while on top.
