George “Punch” Imlach (March 15, 1918 – December 1, 1987) was a Canadian ice hockey coach and general manager best known for his association with the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Buffalo Sabres. He is a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame (1984), and the Ontario Sports Hall of Fame (2004).
He won four Stanley Cups as the coach of the Maple Leafs, winning three in a row from 1962-64, and again in 1967. He coached the Maple Leafs from 1958-1969, and again for the 1979-1980 season. He coached the Sabres for two seasons from 1970-1972.
