Ivan Miroshnichenko (born February 4, 2004) is a Russian ice hockey player, recently playing for Omskie Krylia of the Russian VHL league. He was a member of the Russian team that captured the gold medal at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup, and also won a U18 World Junior Championship silver medal. Miroshnichenko was selected 20th overall by the Washington Capitals in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.
Miroshnichenko earned a reputation as a sandpaper player that skates like the wind and has an excellent release. He served two years in the Omskie hockey program, appearing in both the VHL and MHL leagues. He’s committed to playing another year in the MHL with Omskie Krylia in the 2022-23 season.
