Jack Hughes (born November 2, 2003) is an American-Canadian ice hockey player, recently playing for Boston University of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). He was a member of the American U17 World Hockey Challenge team that won a silver medal in 2020. Hughes was selected 51st overall by the Los Angeles Kings in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.
Son of Montreal Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes, Jack loves to set teammates up with quick and accurate passing, and a eye that is constantly scanning for openings. In 2022, he was named to the NCAA (Hockey East) All-Rookie Team while aiding the Huskies to an NCAA (Hockey East) Championship.
