Jared Aulin (born March 15, 1982) is a former Canadian ice hockey player, having played his final year in the NHL with the Los Angeles Kings during the 2002-2003 season. Drafted 47th overall by the Colorado Avalanche in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, Aulin tore up the Western Hockey League (WHL) the following year, recording 108 points in 70 games with the Kamloops Blazers. After one more season with the Blazers, he made the jump to the pros, but not with the team that drafted him. Unsigned, Aulin signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Kings, joining their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Manchester Monarchs, for the 2002-03 season.
Aulin made his NHL debut the same year, appearing in 17 games and recording two goals and two assists. As a member of the Monarchs, he registered 12 goals and 44 points in 44 games. Aulin was traded to the Washington Capitals in 2004 for forward Anson Carter, but never saw another game in the NHL. After playing five season in the AHL with three different teams, and one year in the Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS), he opted to test his talents overseas.
After one season with Leksands IF of the Swedish HockeyAllsvenskan league, Aulin joined Örebro HK and found immediate success with the new club. After two consecutive 50-point seasons, Aulin assisted the team in its promotion to the Swedish Hockey League (SHL), and was named an alternate captain for the 2013-14 season. His next two seasons with the club saw a regression in production and following their first-round exit in 2014, Aulin left for Switzerland to play for SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers. He retired at the conclusion of the 2019-20 season after stops in Germany and England.
