Sean Bergenheim (born February 8, 1984) is a former Finnish ice hockey player, having played his final year in the NHL split between the Florida Panthers and Minnesota Wild during the 2014-2015 season. Drafted 22nd overall by the New York Islanders in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, Bergenheim was an exceptional player at both Finnish and international levels. He made his debut with the Islanders during the 2003-04 season, but struggled to hold a permanent spot on the roster, a trend that continued for several seasons. After a brief return to Europe in the 2006-07 season, he returned to the Islanders on a one-year contract and made his stay with the team a full-time opportunity, playing in 78 games and registering 22 points.

After two more seasons with the Islanders, Bergenheim signed as a free agent with the Tampa Bay Lightning. Despite registering 14 goals in 80 games during the regular season, his first taste of playoff hockey saw him scoring nine goals in 16 games and becoming a major piece to a Lightning team that reached the Conference Final. The following season, he signed a four-year contract with the Panthers, and put up varying offensive numbers. In the final year of his deal, Bergenheim was used sparingly and resulted in a trade request, which was fulfilled. He was traded to the Wild, playing in 17 games and registering one goal.

Following the conclusion of the 2014-15 season, Bergenheim returned to Europe, signing a one-year deal with SC Bern of the Swiss National League A (NLA). He made an attempt at an NHL comeback the following year, joining the Anaheim Ducks training camp, but after being cut he signed a two year deal with Frölunda HC of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). In February 2018, Bergenheim announced his retirement. Internationally, he represented Finland on eight occasions, winning one silver medal and six bronze medals during that span.
