Shai Buium (born March 26, 2003) is an American ice hockey defenseman currently playing with the University of Denver as a prospect for the Detroit Red Wings. He was selected by the Red Wings with the 36th overall pick in the 2021 NHL Draft. Buium was a member of Denver’s NCAA championship team in 2022.
