The 2016 NHL Awards in Las Vegas had a lot to offer for fans who looked to see if their favorite players won big awards, but players of EA Sports’ yearly hockey video game who are looking to get their hands on NHL 17 early also got some great news.
EA Sports has confirmed that there will be a beta coming before NHL 17 hits the shelves in September. The beta will be online-based, just like the games’ predecessor, NHL 16.
NHL 17’s beta will feature three online game modes: Online Versus, Hockey Ultimate Team and EA Sports Hockey League.

This year’s game will offer brand new customization options for Hockey Ultimate Team and EA Sports Hockey League. The Beta will give you access to those new features and will allow you to give feedback on how your experience was with those features.
To sign up for the beta, go to easports.com. Through there, you can sign up for the free beta that is scheduled to go live on July 28 and run through August 4. It will be exclusive to Xbox One and Playstation 4 users.
NHL 17 will feature St. Louis Blues star Vladimir Tarasenko on the cover and is slated to release on September 13.
