The Buffalo Beauts have signed forward Kristina Lavoie to a one-year contract with the Buffalo Beauts. The deal carries a value of $13,000. She comes to the team from one of the league’s free agent camps.
“Kristina is another prospect who comes to us from the Buffalo Free Agent Camp. Right away, Craig [Muni] and I noticed her ability to make good passes and find her teammates with them. We think she can be an integral piece to our goal production,” said general manager Ric Seiling.

The 2010 Hockey East Rookie of the Year played for the University of New Hampshire from 2009-2013, where she posted 57 goals and 51 assists during her career.
“I’m excited to join the Beauts and the NWHL because I’ll have the opportunity to play the sport I love and compete at one of the highest levels against world-class players,” said Lavoie.
The signing comes as the league’s free agency period comes to a close. The final day to sign free agents is July 31.
