Briere is an instructor at the Canadian Professional Goalie Schools and has served as a goaltending coach with the Topeka Roadrunners in the NAHL, in the USHL with the Fargo Force and Des Moines Buccaneers, as well as serving as an assistant coach for the University of Alabama Huntsville.
Briere’s professional career saw him playing all over the place, including stints with the University of Alabama Huntsville, the Providence Bruins, the Memphis Riverkings of the CHL, the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL, as well as teams in the IHL, BNL, EIHL, and elsewhere.
Vuori most recently served as a European scout for the Detroit Red Wings, holding a post there for the last eight seasons and with the Los Angeles Kings for 11 seasons prior to that. He’s also worked in hockey operations for TPS in the Finnish Elite League and played 13 seasons in the Finnish Elite League, posting 167 goals and 204 assists through 503 career games.
The changes to the overall look of the Maple Leafs continue on following a couple season of purging management, coaches, and players.
