Martin Brodeur: Wins, Shutouts, Saves, and Statistics Unmasked

On June 16, 1990, the New Jersey Devils drafted goaltender Martin Brodeur 20th overall with their first pick in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft. For the first time after 24 years, nine Atlantic Division, five Eastern Conference, and three Stanley Cup championships, the Devils will probably enter the 2014-15 regular season without Brodeur in a crease somewhere in their organization.  After making his NHL debut in the Devils old red, white, and green jerseys on March 26, 1992, at the Brendan Byrne Arena, Brodeur more than likely made his last start with the only NHL franchise he has ever known on April 13, 2014, in the team’s red, white, and black jerseys at the Prudential Center. Both times he allowed two goals and both times he defeated the Boston Bruins.  To honor the game’s greatest goaltender, The Hockey Writers proudly presents:

Excellent compilation of so many of his stats, good work. It’s really overwhelming what he’s done in his career, and it’s amazing to see all these numbers in one place.

Will this man, he’s been my hero since I was 8.
