The 6-foot-4, 221 pound forward spent most of last season with the Hamilton Bulldogs, AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens, finding his way into just seven NHL games. In his career, he’s also spent time with the Pittsburgh Penguins and Winnipeg Jets.
The 26-year-old is a veteran of 143 NHL games, through which he has scored five goals and 10 assists with 86 penalty minutes.
While he didn’t accumulate any points with the Canadiens last season, he had some success with the Bulldogs, posting 14 goals and 17 assists.
Thrilled to turn the page and start the next chapter of my career with @DetroitRedWings organization. I'm extremely grateful + motivated!
