The St. Louis Blues announced on Sunday morning that they’ve informed rookie forward Robby Fabbri that he’ll be sticking with the team for the season and not returning to his junior club, the Guelph Storm of the Ontario Hockey League.
Fabbri was informed of the news by GM Doug Armstrong on the team plane Saturday night, following the team’s win 4-0 thrashing of the Nashville Predators.
So far this season Fabbri has played eight games, scoring a pair of goals and an assist while averaging 10:06 of ice time.
Those totals follow an impressive 18-year-old season with the Storm in the OHL last season, where he scored 25 goals and 26 assists in 30 games.
Watch below as Darren Pang interviews Fabbri on the team plane to the cheers of teammates following Fabbri’s meeting with Armstrong where he was given the news.
