The deal will pay Brown a base NHL salary of $925,000, with performance and signing bonuses raising the AAV of the deal to $1.635 million.
If he fails to make the Senators out of training camp, he will be paid $10,500 with the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League.
Logan Brown, 18, shot up prospect rankings going into the draft thanks to a dominant 74-point season in 59 games with the Spitfires. The Raleigh, North Carolina-born center tallied 12 points in nine games in the U18 World Junior Championships with the United States.

Brown sports incredible size at 6-foot-6, 220 pounds. The Senators hope that he can turn into an elite force down the middle of the ice in the relatively near future.
Logan Brown has a great blend of two-way skill. He has a powerful shot and good vision in the offensive end. His size makes him tough to beat in the corners and in front of the net. Brown is a player who knows how to use his size to his advantage.
The Senators add Brown to a solid group of young forwards, one which includes the likes of Colin White, Thomas Chabot, and NHL-level guys in Curtis Lazar, Mark Stone and Jean-Gabriel Pageau.
