Andrew Bodnarchuk (born September 15, 1975) is a Canadian ice hockey player currently under contract for the Nürnberg Ice Tigers of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). He was last seen in the NHL with the Colorado Avalanche during the 2015-2016 season. Drafted 129th overall by the Boston Bruins in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, Bodnarchuk returned to the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) for two more seasons with the Halifax Mooseheads, serving as their captain in his final year. He made his NHL debut during the 2009-10 season after playing a full year in the American Hockey League (AHL), appearing in five games and finishing with two penalty minutes and a minus-2 rating.
After two full seasons with the Providence Bruins, serving as an alternate captain, Bodnarchuk left the Bruins organization to sign with the Los Angeles Kings. While he never received an opportunity to make an impact at the NHL level, he was part of the 2015 Calder Cup Champion team, and played as an alternate captain for two of three seasons with the Manchester Monarchs. Bodnarchuk left Los Angeles following his championship run to sign with the Blue Jackets.
Bodnarchuk appeared in 16 games with Columbus Blue Jackets, recording two assists, before he was claimed off waivers by the Avalanche. Due to their lack of depth, he received 21 games with his new club, recording two more assists and finishing the run with a minus-2 rating. Bodnarchuk played two more years in the AHL with the Texas Stars before making the jump to Europe. After appearing in two seasons with EHC München of the DEL, Bodnarchuk signed with Nürnberg Ice Tigers. He finished two seasons and is committed to the club for the 2022-23 season.
