Matthew Duchene (born 16 January 1991) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre who currently plays for the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League (NHL). He has previously played in the NHL for the Colorado Avalanche, Ottawa Senators, Columbus Blue Jackets and Nashville Predators.
Duchene was selected third overall by the Avalanche in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. He won a gold medal with Canada at the 2014 Winter Olympics.
